Small Mexican town of less then 100 people on a road if you got a flat your would be there for sometime. Came across a beautiful four lane highway after driving on a narrow dirt road for two hours and thought "we are in the front row!" Stepped up to 60 miles/hour for 30 minutes and almost landed in a ditch when the road abruptly ended with out warning. Three hours more of dirt road...
Do you have any advice for others who may be considering driving the Americas?:
We found in useful to spent a couple of week vacationing in several location renting cars to gain familiarity with local driving conditions, etc.
