1990 Chevy G20 Conversion with Bed, Kitchen, Bathroom. 85K. No Issues. Clean California Title. - San Diego. $5,900

1990 Chevy G20 RARE Conversion Van with RV style Hookups.

This is an amazing camp/adventure vehicle ready for National Parks, Stealth Camping, VanLife, ETC. The engine only has 85K miles with zero issues. Transmission is strong with WORKING OVERDRIVE and no slippage. We just did a 500 mile desert trip averaging 15-17MPG and had no issues. The engine is the iconic Chevy 305 5.7L V8 which is why I bought this van. These engines are easy to work on and notoriously long lasting so with 85k it’s still got a long time to roll.
This is an animal free/smoke (of all kinds) free vehicle that you can do some serious adventuring in. The van is totally clean and we put some new area rugs down (we planned on converting the floor but hadn't yet. There is original carpet underneath.) New bedding, a fresh oil change, smogged, and registered until 2019. Cosmetically it has some scuffs and scratches but it looks pretty damn good for 28 years old. It also has water & electric hookups for RV sites if that is more of your thing. Also just got fresh Oil!

There are some amazing additions to this van that you wouldn't expect from the outside. It has:
A toilet and black water tank (Never used for Poo)
Water Pump
Bed (Electrically (Working) lowers from couch)
House Lights (wired to overhead console)
LED Front Fog Lights for forest adventures (Wired to overhead console)
Power Windows & Locks
Roof hatch
Also included:
Refletix for windows to block sun & insulation during camping (could be blacked out for stealth camping)
New Dual Horn with button replacement/relocation.

The van does need a couple things that we intended to change around. You can do the same or revert it back as it was. Currently, these are the alterations or work needed:

-Water pump inlet line is cracked (to fill holding tank). We planned on removing the tank and using a manual foot pump sink to take some more electric off the deep cycle battery but you can just replace the inlet tube (cheap) and re-connect the power to the water pump and it’ll run again as is.
-AC has vacuum leak (causes air to only blow from defrost vents) The leak is at the A/C reservoir tubes under the hood (easily accessed) Two tubes need to be replaced (Dried out) then you charge the system up. I planned on doing this but we haven’t needed A/C so it was on the back burner while we worked on other things in the van and traveled. Easy fix and I’ll show you the tube location and the visible crack).

Registered until September 2019. Clean California title in hand.
