For SALE: Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Bolivia/Peru/Chile/Ecuador May 2018

Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Bolivia/Peru/Chile/Ecuador May 2018

Serious price drop, because we made up our mind what to do next! If you're looking for a serious, no-nonsense 4x4 truck to make your roadtrip, this is it! This Toyota Tacoma V6 has been amazing for our trip and we are sad to see it go!
We have three sleeping options in the car giving us the comfort of a big room within campgrounds (and warmer areas) and having the stealth of sleeping in the tray for colder areas or cities and a small and lightweight tent for multiple day treks.

Specs:
- Brand: Toyota
- Model: Tacoma 4x4 (with low gear) double cab with canopy
- Year: 2007
- Engine: 4.0L V6 gasoline automatic
- Tank: 85L approx. +/- 12L/100km
- 2 sets of keys with remotes
Canadian car with Alberta plates. (we made extra ourselves, because normally you only have one plate and two is mandatory in SA)
271.000kms at the moment, probably around 285.000kms before we will be selling. Tacomas are known for going well over 500.000kms and being the third owner and never had problems, I guess it can be true.
We are flexible where we can sell the car. Currently we're in Bolivia and we're flexible on selling location. We want to sell the car in May 2018, to fly from there to our next adventure.

Because we were the third owners, we made some extra modifications to the car, just to make camping even more easy. For example we installed a solar system to run the fridge and any other extra devices 24/7.

Lots of extras on the car for overlanding;
- Solar panel 155 Wp
- Three batteries, 2 deepcycle for solar system (100 A + 90 A) and 1 for the engine (100 A, changed feb 2018)
- ARB fridge/freezer 47L
- ARB front bumper with WARN winch.
- Custom made rear bumper with super bright lights and reversing camera
- 12v Chargers and USB ports inside vehicle and a 12v port in rear canopy for fan, etc.
- Fuse panel for extra hook ups if needed.
- ARB 2.5m awning
- ARB 2.5mx2.5m room
- Thule roof rack
- Warrior roof rack
- Yakima roof top box
- 2 extra fuel jerrycans, 20 L each
- Small lightweight tent for hiking, 2p (feb 2018)
- Emergency battery for starting cars, compressor or light.
- Ironman shocks and extra load leaf spring
- New brakes (dec 2017)
- Top quality E rated tyres + spare tyre underneath the car
- 2 road triangles (mandatory in SA)
- Fire extinguisher (mandatory in SA)
- Reflective stripes on the car (mandatory in SA)
- Jumper leads (only used helping others, good for making new friends!)

The drawers in the tray bed and roof top box will allow you ample storage space for everything you need. The truck is completely set up and ready to take you on your trip of a life time.

Additional camping equipment:
- All cooking utensils (far more than you will need!) pot, pans, cutlery, fire grill, Dutch oven, plenty of crockery.
- 2 burner stove with 5kg gas bottle (2 different connectors for different bottles, depending the country your travelling)
- 2 ARB camping chairs
- Camping table
- 2L thermos can
- Loads of straps
- Extension cords
- Additional storage containers for groceries
- Beach umbrella (great for days on the beach!)
- Guide books
- Mattress, 2 pillows, sheets and blanket
- 2p sleeping bag (for colder nights)
- Oillamps and parafine
- Lamzac (easy floatable chilling device)
- 20L watercontainer with tap
- 40L sunshower

Tools
Majority of our tools were all bought brand new by the previous owners and have been barely used.
- Extra tent poles
- 100 piece car kit/ wrench set
- extra tarp
- ropes
- drill
- handsaw
- axe
- box full off small screws etc.

Defects
The car has some minor defects, but are only visual.
- Some scratches and dents on the bodywork
- Some cracks in the front windshield passenger side (we bought it like this and was never a problem. As long as it is waterproof it was ok for us)
- Back top door won't open all the way because of bad hydraulics. We use a wooden stick to hold the back top door open (easy fix, see pictures)

The car traveled from Canada to South America where we bought it and also traveled South America without any problem so far! This is a really tough vehicle that will get you wherever you want to go. With the larger tyres, great suspension, and extra clearance it's the perfect rig to overland on any road you want! Asking price is €10.000,- obo
