Sold in Santiago: 2005 Toyota 4Runner with rooftop tent

After 6 months of enjoying overlanding with our beloved 4Runner “Bernie” with a rooftop tent, it’s time to sell it.
Specs.:
-Toyota 4Runner 2005 with a V6 4.0L gasoline engine with 5 gear automatic transmission. Powerful engine that makes it a breeze to drive on the highway, gravel roads or the sandy and rocky roads of the altiplano.
-Around 200.000km on the meter when we will end our trip. So in for a lot more KMs!
-Option to select 2H, 4H and 4L. This in combination with the powerful engine and good ground clearance made us feel that the only limitation was the driver  ;-)
-75L gasoline tank gives you a big range, while 2 spare tanks of 20l and a 5l spare tank can be filled up to even reach the most remote places.
-Well maintained with receipts of the services of the last two years
-4 new tires fitted when we bought the car 18.000 kms ago and it has a nearly pristine spare tire.
-Sparkplugs and fuel filter replaced in April 2018 and injectors etc. cleaned.
-Comfort behind the wheel: central locking of the doors, airco, cruise control and Bluetooth radio
-Permiso de circulacion and mandatory SOAP Chilean insurance are valid until 31 may 2019
-Revision technica valid until October 2018.
Equipment:
-Rooftop tent: very comfortable and easy way of camping. Enables you to go everywhere, set up the tent in less than 5’ and be installed for the night. Thick down blanket and pillows are included to have the comfort of a queen size bed on your roof!
-Camping gear for two people: MSR camping stove, pots, pans, cutlery, cups, glasses, Italian coffee maker, plates, water filter, electric cool box/fridge, 12V to 220V converter, ..., and storage boxes to organize all of this cleanly in the trunk without adding a lot of additional weight.
-Two chairs and a folding table, hammock, wheel lock, 12V generator to inflate/deflate tires, all necessary safety equipment and a first aid kit.

It is a 13 year old car, so it has some scratches and bruises, but technically, the car is working perfectly.
In summary: if you are looking for a reliable and comfortable overlanding vehicle to start your adventure in Santiago in June, look no further!

The car has plates from Chile, making it easy to transfer it in Santiago.
