NO GAS FOR YOU IN BOLIVIA AND I MEAN IT

We have just arrived La Paz and they dont sell you a gas even for a higher price, because the gas stations are not ready to do the paperwork. Cars with foreign plates have to pay 2.5 - 3 times more than cars with local plates. Cameras are up and attendants refuse to fill yourtank and call police.
I simply refused to drive away and created a huge line up but it did not work, police told me that there is another gas station few blocks away what will sell to foreign cars and I was fooled driving to the next station. They did not sell me either.
I was ready to pay what ever price, but they simply dont sell it to you.
I refused to move again until police will find out what gas station will sell gas for cars with foreign plates.
I was told that a gas station near the bus terminal in the center of the city is allowed to sell gas for me.
It was a nightmare but i did get it. How am I going to get gas until I get to Argentina is unknown. It is not regulated at the moment , it is a total mess. I have to steel, buy from locals, stelel the local plates and not open my mouth because I dont speak Spanish.
Be ready for it....
All this mess is new starting from Dec . 01 /2011
